sasparilla is a fairly new piece for grade 5-6 bands by john mackey. this was the 4th song of the 2006 TMEA 5A All-State Concert Band. It includes an awesome tenor sax solo.

gustav holst wrote this song in 1905 as a four part song of english dances. in 2004 RSS's top band played this as a UIL piece. The Lee College Community Band is playing this for an upcoming concert.
