About the Fallen : An Irish rock band, based in Cork. Reformed in 2005 after various member changes 'The Fallen' are anything but down. After a recent break from the live scene the band are back armed with an EP, a new sound and all the experience that comes with an intense writing and recording session. Easy to underestimate, this self recorded and self mixed EP has been receiving nothing but acclaim from its listeners. Although not yet officially released, tracks from the EP have to date received airplay from a number of local stations including Cork?s 96FM, Red FM, FreakFM, and has reached at it?s highest point number 2 in the Independent download charts on cpu.ie. The band has also featured regularly in the press including Hot Press, Dublin?s Life Times magazine, and The Evening Echo. The live front is shaping up as an eclipse to what has already been an industrious past. Having played with such acts as JJ72, Life After Modelling and Halite, and in venues including The Cork Opera House, The Cruscin Lan, Vodoo Lounge, Slatteries, The Lobby, The Everyman Palace Theatre & The Brog, the summer promises numerous gigs across Ireland & the UK and the official launch of Generationless.
