Red Tree Records - David Reece
Why this name?
We started out doing only Christian music. ("Red Tree" stood for the bloody cross). I still do a lot of Christian acts also, but I have mainstream acts as well, so that's why there are both types of songs posted on this site. I want to be involved in as much music as I can.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
This makes it easy for musicians to share their music with people all over the country without forcing us to hire expensive promoters. It puts the artist in better control of his/her marketing.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
No.
