We wanted the name to be grim and to have relations with postmortal life and atmosphere.To represent thin line between life and death. Posmrtna Liturgija is not just a name, it is a way of life. The atmosphere you feel that coldness and silence that others beside you reflect when you are on a funeral procesion.

we play live in Serbia and shurely hope to play everywhere in the whole f***ing world! We enjoy ourselves on our gigs! We had special moments but that is not the thing all the bands have. We are not a kind of band that have to beg their fans to go slaming or headbanging, stage diving. They do it because of the emotions in our music. That is the special moment!

Well it certainlly does no good to big bands but on the other side there are unknown but very quallity bands that never had a chance to release their material and labels or promoters and anyone interested can hear them by downloading them from net!

Posmrtna Liturgija (Postmortal Liturgy) was formed in winter 2000. and then there were only two members. Formed by me(Dragan Pagan) and Grof Drobikus band was influenced on Bathory, Immortal,Dissection,Satyricon...
They played old-school black metal and as years go by their musi became rawer,much more complicated and grimmer. The two member band started to rehersal and play in their hometown Ruma for about a year when Mrtvozornik joined band. After a period they recorded a demo and a full lenght album. Band started to play on festivals i Serbia and former Yugoslav contries. Posmrtna Liturgija played with many great bands such as: Inferno, Casket Garden, Grenjar, Koldbrann, Korozy, Negura Bunget, Vokodlok, and many others. In year 2004. Lord Slobikus joined band and these four members are still same!

Posmrtna Liturgija are fast and raw black metal. Do not expect any keybords on our albums! Well let me say that it can be closest to The Abyss and Dark Funeral now but it is original and it has no influences of any bands now
