He is 1/2 of AbNormL & Indocheez, a hip hop/jungle production team from Auburn, AL. Due to some "retarded shit", he and Indocheez have parted ways, , He has a new lp in the works and a new label, d4mity recordingz. On this page, you will find some older tracks that were due out on the "Beware of the Pimpbotz" LP. But since the departure of Indocheez, he has forced to rework everything and has some new tracks co-produced by his new partner on the beats, Cide, such as "Hell'z Intro"/"Anti-Alliance". Which are due out on vinyl mid to late summer on d4mity recordingz.
Why this name?
"My whole style is kinda abnormal and scitzo im constantly coming up with aliases, cause im almost like three different personalities.. on the hip hop emcee side you got Maxx Steele, raw & real, not fronting, straight off the top sh*** but alot of the times really chilled out. On the jungle/drum n bass emcee side, you got MC Lazaryz, raw & real, not fronting, straight off the top, but he much more hyper bouncing and shit, then all the production comes from my AbNormL & D4MD side..."
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
"More capabilites, your able to reach a market where your not even in, like people in the UK, and Japan, I've certainly never been to the UK or Japan, sh*** i've never even been west of the mississippi river, haha. But yeah, i think being able to reach those markets and link with people on the same level"
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
"it would have to be right for me and my peoples, my family, i dont want to sign anything that would have me obligated to make 20 albums, and only getting 10%, or something, but i would rather score a distribution deal for my label, that way we have total control of everything"
Band History:
"Well I've been writing rhymes since i was 11, im 22 now, ive been producing tracks for about 2 years, and ive been doing live shows for about 3 or 4 years"
Your influences?
"Man I've grown up listening to so many things, mostly hip hop and jazz, i love the temptations, and old soul, im not really a fan of hard rock or anything, but heavy metal is kinda like drum n bass cause its hype, mosh pit music..but i also get influenced by sh*** today, like prefuse 73, squarepusher, and aphex twin, and Luke Vibrant, also by them Body Snizap mofo's...."
