Aleph.Null is an Industrial Noise and Breakcore project created by JC Larwick. writing and performing since the late 90's previous projects include The Electric Audio Autopsy, Juice/face, Itsybtsyspydur, and Yog Sothoth, He has also previously wrote and performed in several metal and punk bands including Denver's To Be Eaten.
Why this name?
"Aleph Null" is a math term used to designate a group of infinite numbers.
When working with any infinite number series it is important to designate groups of numbers as well as quantity. Aleph Null is the lowest grouping in any infinite series and no matter what its actual quantity, it is always empty.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Good music existed long before an industry was built on top of it and long after the industry dies there will still be good music. I think that the huge surge in free music made available by artists makes an interesting statement. I guess not everyone is trying to get rich.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I would love to sign with a major label but it would only happen on limited terms. I don't want it to sound like I am against musicians making money from music. I do object to "selling out". I hate it when bands and individuals change everything they are about just to make the most profits. I simply believe in art before profit.
