KrucifeR is an UNSIGNED diamond in the rough with little to no knowledge of his existence. As a former professional wrestler, Kru knows how to give the people what they want and entertain them to the fullest. With combined elements of "Horrorcore", "Emo", "Acid Rap", and "Mainstream Hip Hop"...KrucifeR's diversity is what separates him from the rest. Since 2003, Kru has shown consistant signs of improvement in his craft as a recording artist, as well as a producer. As a self-producing artist, KrucifeR continues to gain respect on an every day basis as his name spreads like a virus across the world.
Why this name?
The word "crucifer" in the dictionary is defined as "bearer of the cross", which is a subliminal way of saying I bear Jesus in my heart as a christian. I changed the "C" to a "K" and capitalized the "R" to prevent any confusion.
Do you play live?
Yes, anytime, anywhere...Just hit me up.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It makes it easier for a lower budget artist such as myself to advertise and distribute the product.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If the deal was legit and the money was right...I would sign in a heart beat.
Band History:
KrucifeR got his start in the entertainment world back in the year 2000 as he debuted as "Doug E. Smooth" on the independent wrestling scene. After hundreds of matches and some TV exposure, Kru decided wrestling wasn't for him and decided to persue his other dream...being a recording artist. He met up with his childhood friend who had similar interests which sparked KrypT Records...an underground horrorcore label that never really took off. After recording 3 albums under the label, one as Tha KrypT KeepaZ with Suburban Korpse, and two as Tha K.O.K. (Keepaz Of tha KrypT) with The Great Zambini...lack of sufficient funds put a stop to the label's existence. Now, as a solo artist, Kru works with Bloody River Records with The Dark Hills Gang, and their roster of developing artists, as wells as his former KrypT Records label mate The Great Zambini. There are plans for a K.O.K. reunion album in the future.
