Hi,

My name is Chris Barry and I am trying to be a Jazz Guitarist, was a Bass Player, & Conguero. My music is a mix of Gypsy Jazz, Funk Bass, and Afro Cuban Rythyms tied into a free jazz format.
Why this name?
It is who I am.
Do you play live?
Not much anymore. I want to work up a set of Irish folk tunes in 2011 and hope to play out again for fun.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The MP3 has changed the industry for the better since as an artist you can distribute your music without having to have the backing of a minor/major record label.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes, wouldn't we all?
