I play the all the instruments, though I program the vast majority of the drums since I live in an apartment. I love poppy melodies, vocal harmonies, syncopated rhythms, crazy analog synthesizers, and sweet, ass-shaking bass. My goal is to make music that makes you want to dance, or at least bob your head, and if the hook is good enough, maybe you'll even want to sing along, too.
Why this name?
It sounded stupid and I liked it. It's like the opposite of pretentious.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The music industry as we know it will die, and once again musicians will control music.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Major labels will hopefully die.
