06/28/01 - We played a very small show at Budget Burger in Valley City, ND today. It was fun -- we all got really wet, but the show was stopped when Bud was electrocuted, luckily not killed.

Basically, we're four guys who have past musical experience, and after our previous musical obligations failed to do us any good, Bud and Chris asked Broc to join, then the three of us asked Eric, and that's how we became.
Why this name?
Meddle is the name of an amazing Pink Floyd album. Few people knew that before they read this.
Do you play live?
We love to play live. When Bud and Chris were a solo acoustic act, they played the Trentino's in Fargo, ND a few times, but as a band, we played a guerrila concert at a campsite recently to an audience of 40-50 people, and we recently played a fast food joint.. few bands can say that. We're also booked to play a small festival in Bismarck, ND this weekend called "Slaughterstock."
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
MP3 has revolutionized the opportunities for bands to make it. We're a band relying on the internet for our success. Without the internet, we'd be point blank f***ed.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Of course we would, silly.
Your influences?
Broc's favorite artists are Green Day, NOFX, Blink 182, and Larger Than Life. He comes from a more punk background. Bud's favorite group is the Smashing Pumpkins, and he digs the Deftones and Pink Floyd. Chris is into The Deftones, ICP, and Duncan Sheik. I guess Bud likes Duncan Sheik as well. And as for Eric, I guess I don't really know. Want some cheese?

Bud - Chicago, Metro probably and maybe even Costa Rica
