Futurejazz is me Anthony I have a great love of jazz mostly jazz fusion miles davis bill evans brecker bros chris potter and many more I always wanted to make music,crossing genres but with elememts of jazz I use computer programs which allow me to experiment with lots of sounds and get the ideas out of my head onto the computer.I play keyboards for ideas create my own samples using synths and also use produced samples main aim is to inject soul into what I do.

Why this name?

I like music that is electic moving ahead not afraid to step in and out of genres, that sounds like it is made now not in the past.My son heard me mixing one of my tunes and commented that it sounds spacey and futuristic hence the name.

Do you play live?

I play some keyboardsfor myself but my main line is using technology to compose fusion type tracks I do give my stuff to friends and family and they can be critical.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

One of the most positive things that has come from the internet it allows the individual a lot of independence ,not so good for record company but better for artists you also gain acess to a vast jukebox of sounds and ideas.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Enjoying what I do just getting a real buzz if I can get a good feel on my tracks ,answer to your question always worth looking at offers.

Band History:

A long history of listening to different music from early bob marley wailers ,aswad ,donald byrd and that album dominoes melodys and themes that you can feel the early wailers harmonys are loaded with these .Thats what I try to do with my music. Get to the feeling.

Your influences?

Miles Davis,Mike Brecker,Chick Corea,Bill Evans Herbie Hancock.Miles davis in particular his later years with his emphasis on beat and modern groove elements.

Favorite spot?

London town the best fast city around.

Equipment used:

Trusty pc plus lots of software most of Ej software range plus fruity loops music Makerrange Sony acid 6,Magix samplitude,Magix music studio,Mixcraft, Livid virtual drums,Akai mini mpk, Midstart pro 2Emu 25 controller keyboards.

Running great for cool thinking and have done it for years its the next best thing to listening to good music.
