Why this name?
When the band members first met in the summer of 97, we were seeing a stupidly large amount of dead bee's on the floor, so we used to count them whilst walkin around drinking cans and cans of super strength lager...it always seemed that the more dead bee's we saw, the better it was later that night when we went out on the town.

we've got our first live showcase of this new album in april on the 14th. at the greenroom chesterfield, derbyshire.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
yes!!
what a stupid question, a record label would be lucky to have us, it only took 2 months to finnish our album of 10 tracks and we ended up scrapping 6 perfectly good tracks because we thought they might offend people.

Band History:
It all started when Vince Pie(Martin hardwick) and Jim Otter(Adam Wood) started messing around with a keyboard and four track, the music was sh*** and they just wrote stuff for fun, trying to write the most hard to listen to, stupid, offensive music ever.
after a few years of just doing this for a laugh, cubase came along and the four track was smashed.
After getting bored of trying to write clever nicey nicey tracks with guitars and meaningful lyrics DEAD BEE surfaced again but this time with an amazing sound and more attitude. ELECTRONIC(the latest album) they decided was too good to hide away in a box with nobody listening....so now DEAD BEE are on a mission to get the ELECTRONIC album into as many houses as possible...DEAD BEE are giving this amazing masterpiece away for free in order to get the ball rolling.

Equipment used:
WE program our music using Cubase with Halion sampler and whatever we can get our hands on... then its just up to the vocal mics and our voices (two vocalists by the way)
