Day 1 started back in Middle school with me, troy,steve and Dre. When we got to high school the name became day 1. Now we got 2 spots to record and mix our own stuff. For years me and troy produced out of the basement of his parents house. we use to record an album in like 3 hours. Yea we were hungry and still are. With the support of Detroit Day 1 will do this shit!
Why this name?
Because it's 4 of us originaly and we been around doin this sh*** since day f***in one.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
No, In my opinion it dosent.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
