Love To Love You Baby
Sadly, we are no more, and haven't been for a few years now.
Why this name?
Named after the nickname of the old Buick factory in Flint, Michigan. The band started out as Blue Steel before coming "Dover Cooper and the Buick City Blues Band", later shortened to just Buick City Blues Band.
Do you play live?
We'd been playing at the Otisville Hotel, in Otisville Mich. on Sunday evenings since summer of 1994 until sometime in 2000 in some capacity or another. In 1994 we opened for Kansas, and in 1995 we opened for Buddy Guy, Corey Stevens, and Madcat and Kane. The most magical gigs were always the Sundays at the Otisville Hotel though.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It allows me to make my music available to the public. I know nothing about the music industry, so no comment there.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Ummm... maybe....
