I'm completely unversed in any kind of theory, mixing, EQing, or otherwise technical stuff. I downloaded a program, clicked a few buttons, and found out I could make really cool sounds come out of my speakers.
:-P
Why this name?
Orpheus was the Greek god of music.
I love the Greeks, I can be really arrogant , and I make music.
Could there be anything more perfect?
Do you play live?
Nope, I'm 18 and like I said, I wouldn't know the first thing about setting up a DJ-ing gig.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It friggin' ownz. Anyone can make music and share it with the rest of the world. There's going to be an explosion in the creation and creativity of music because of the ease at which it can now be made, distributed and critiqued.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Heck yes I would. Gosh, what do you think?
Band History:
Non-existant
Your influences?
Hmmm.
Energy 101.1, every DJ there ever was. Classical composers I had to listen to for AcaDeca, Yani, Keith Green, Linkin Park, Evanescence, Story of the Year...All my favorite bands. I'm a mimick, and that's ok.
E Nomine
Tiesto
Favorite spot?
In front of the computer screen.
Equipment used:
I've got FruityLoops, a couple mikes and a mixer.
Anything else...?
I'd love comments and feedback/collaboration with my music. Please let me know what you like/dislike so I can improve and get new ideas.
Thanks,
-Tyler
