I have been writing songs since the mid-70's. I put my music in the Country catagory; however, I write swing and acoutic songs, too.
Do you play live?
I am fortunate to have a handfull of friends and we will go out and play a surprise gig from time to time. Nothing formal anymore.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
This is a great vehicle to put my music out there, allow a person to preview/listen, and make a consumer choice as to buy the song or not buy the song. As a songwriter, I can't get any closer to a larger market.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
