Our music is a combination of lots of styles as you can hear when you listen to our songs. When we play live, we usually play as an acoustic duo. We have played at the local and famous Caffe Lena's in Saratoga Springs, NY and also at a benefit concert in Wells, VT. So, we usually have a folk/punk feel when we play live.
Why this name?
It took 30 minutes of spewing out ridiculous names for the band until we found the most ridiculous one of all. But shortly after, the meaning of what it stands for became so apparent and clear - not to mention hilarious. If you don't get it ... well, maybe you are thinking too hard.
Do you play live?
We played live for the first time in summer 2007(see introduction). Do we like it? YES!! There were some bumpy moments (mostly nervous jitters) but nothing that would stop us.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It's a beautiful thing. We can do music our own way, on our own time, and with hardly any money.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Not saying we would say "no" if a hot-shot producer was going to give us millions of dollars. Hey! We are only human! But the ideal thing would be part of a label that was owned by us and our friends.
Band History:
The history of our band is no different than any others. We are artists by nature and our day jobs lack the creative outlet we need to have in our lives. And we will continue to create music no matter what.
Your influences?
NOFX, Metallica, John Vanderslice, Iron Maiden, Green Day, Janes Addiction, Public Enemy, Beastie Boys, Beck, Tears For Fears, Sunny Day Real Estate, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Living Color, Pink Floyd, Led Zepplin, etc, etc.
Favorite spot?
Saratoga Springs, Long Island, and anywhere with cool people and cool music.
Equipment used:
Martin acoustic, Cort electric guitar, Washburn Lyon electric, Fender bass, Soundforge music programs, Fostex 8-track digital recorder, Yamaha classical guitar, Kinetic drum machine program, and so on.
Anything else...?
You like our logo? It's done by our good friend, Dan! Check out his comic strip at www.eben07.com !!

We also have a side project. It's still in the works, but you can see what's been posted at: soundclick.com/suprkid
