Why this name?
It's a name taken from those eastern europe traditions, really dark and misterious traditions that show stories about vampires and some other characters...
Do you play live?
Since about 14 years ago, I only did DJ mixes using a mixer and turnatables but recently also I started to play live with some hardware as rhythm stations, samplers and some synths.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Internet bring us the easiest and cheap way of spread the music, our own music can be listened by almost every people, in every part of the world, that is the greatest thing happened in the history of music I think.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Of course!
Your influences?
My influences are mostly the 90's techno made in UK, the "Birmingham School" or the London people, some names are, Surgeon, Regis (Downwards label in general), Oliver Ho, Steve Bicknell, James Ruskin... but there is some other names that changed my perception of techno, as Luke Slater, Jeff Mills, Obscurum and early productions by The Advent.
Since only a few years ago I had been taking more influences of the spanish techno powered by Christian Wunsch, Oscar Mulero, Exium, Reeko...
But really I like to make a quite difererent techno, an old tasted techno, using some mystic and arcaic or primitive concepts, and also dark...muahahaha...
Equipment used:
Mainly I use a PC based equipment at the studio, a few hardware gear such as samplers, synths or grooveboxes, and a lot of sofware for applying FX, mixing and sequencing tracks, but playing live I only use hardware gear.
For DJ mixes I prefer Technics turntables and some mixer as Pioneer DJM-600 or Rodec MX180.
Anything else...?
