In the never ending war against corruption, oppresstion and all things destructive, Dizzy Dizasta has risen to promote knowledge and truth, steadily bringing hip hop back to its cultural roots.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The MP3 age serves as the final frontier for the underground artist. In today's music industry talent is traded for 'sensation' where popular artists and groups have dumbed down and homogenized thier art into a dry, substance-less form. The internet and sites like soundclick give the real artists voice and a medium to exchange and present thier creative skills.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
You mean would I sell my soul? -- I guess that would depend on the nature of the deal and the amount of creative freedom that I would maintain under the label. I don't want to become an endentured servant like many artists on major labels.
