BITTERCREAM is a collection of ineptly recorded, experimental rock demos from bedroom and basement recorded between 2005-2007.

No one expects the tunes to go much of anywhere... so we'll all be even more surprised if some day, they do.
Why this name?
A bitter disposition + a very aptly named fuzz pedal = bittersweet.

But that was too common. So it's Bittercream.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Pretty much every band I've discovered and listen to every day I have discovered online by 'stealing' MP3s of their songs. Without that influence, I never would have picked up a guitar, and would be listening to Top 40 butt-rock and "adult alternative" radio.

Radiohead have exactly the right idea. Now if only every budding artist out there could have the kind of already-made fanbase they had when they put out "In Rainbows"...
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Not really a concern now, and if current trends continue, it won't ever be one, either.
Your influences?
Autolux, Rye Wolves, Guided By Voices, ambient, drone, shoegazer metal.
Favorite spot?
The West Coast is nice. Washington or Oregon, that is. Not the other place.
Equipment used:
A Warmoth Jaguar with h/b pickups + coil splitter. Various fuzz/distortion/OD pedals, delay, chorus, a Moog MuRF, EQs... Fender and Mesa Boogie amplification.
