Yo, What up world! I am an artist, writer,producer, and young brotha that's trying to start my own label. After numerous attempts (to no avail)...I finally decided to relinquish my efforts towards landing a record deal, and I decided to start my own label. This way I can put myself out. To all of the artists out there, I say to you... Believe in yourself, even when others don't. Never let them get you down, and keep pushin! The music that you hear from me is in no way "hatin" on anyone. Just a form of artistic expression. I speak my own mind,and I do it unapologetically. When you are your own boss... You can do that!(smile) Once again, to my artists... No matter what genre of music you perform... We are all in this together. You feel me? Knon was born and raised in the city of Detroit. He first began doing music back in 1990. He started out free-styling with friends, and battling any and everybody all over town. From there he began writing and making beats for himself and other local artists. After winning several talent shows and catching a buzz locally, he earned a chance to open up for Ginuwine in 1994. With the success of that, he put out a single, and created another buzz in the Detroit underground scene. More shows and openings for big name artist followed over the next couple of years.
knon took a break, so that he could concentrate on the business side of the entertainment world. Armed with the knowledge of the pros, he formed NOBOSS RECORDS in 2005. He now is set to release his own music, as well as new underground artists from Detroit.
