Why this name?
I'm from camden, NJ and my stage name is tre g. Tre was a nickname given to me in the seventh grade because people said I looked like Cuda Gooding Jr. in Boyz In Da Hood
Do you play live?
I host an open mic, and some times go out to other open mics.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It gives us another avenue to be heard by a broader audience
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
that depends on the label
Band History:
I started writing poetry in about the sixth grade, and began sharing it with others in the form of spoken word around about 2002
Your influences?
I love sam cooke, as far as music goes, um... my poetic influences would be, Langston Hughes, Paul Lwerence Dunbar, Claude McCay, Emily Dickenson, and Mya Angelou
Favorite spot?
My favorite city is Brooklyn, though I don't there often.
