Hard, fast, and a fist full of adrenalin, is a good way to describe K[nine]. 6 guys with the determination, and will, travels around the globe, bringing their energy, their glowing interest for metal music, and their good mood!
Determined to bring their music to the people, you can be shure this will be a name you haven’t heard for the last time.
Based in Norway, the band spends mot their time creating the best show they possibly can.
“Be the best you can be” is the starting “prayer” before each session.

Why this name?
The "Power" is essential for these guys, the name K(nine) for them represents: speed, determination, strength, and instinct. And was therefore a natural choice.
Do you play live?
A good band is based on the thrill, and lust to entertain. To play live is for Knine more then a job, it is basically what they want to do every day. The best way to experience music is live.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
For the better! The music industry is an exciting arena. But without constantly having to change, things seem to fall into a pattern. Mp3 is a great way to introduce music to as many people ass possible. It only opens up for other ways for the companies to create profit!
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Every musicians dream is to be able to live doing what you enjoy doing. But, too many bands/artists underestimate the power of money. Being an artist, a big part of your job is to explore your creativity. The hunt for money sometimes comes to far up your priority list. A major can be the answer to your prayers, if you are on the same level. Understanding each other is crucial. The creative values are a must for us to sign a deal with any major.

Who the hell is k[nine]?
K[nine] is 6 ambitious musicians that came togetherafter playing in various Norwegian bands as: diZHarmony and Imprint.
After a few jam-sessions, they soon realized
the potensial, and started working hard, putting the otherbands aside.
As the inspiration sources show, these guyes
likes it hard, fast, and powerfull. However, they are fasinated by the balance between power, and melody.
The Metal, and Metal Core fans will rekognize the linkto bands such as: Machine Head, KoRn, Hatebreed, and Pantera.
The band non the less is adding some features
that separates them from these bands.
Their ambitions are clear: Play as much live as possibleduring 2006, and make as many people as possible rekognize the fact that there is somthing exiting going on up north.
A jury in the national Zoom competition
in Norway saw this, and sent the band to the finals.

Your influences?
Pantera, Hatebreed, Machine Head, Killswitch Engage, KoRn, Trivium, Slipknot, My Dying Bride, Chimaira, Down, Alice in Chains, Stone Soure, and so on. We are influenced by good music. The genre does not matter!
Favorite spot?
We all would like to see more of the US, but Copenhagen is a great place to play.

7 strings guitars,Engel, and Randall amps, Sonor drums, Ampeg Bass rac, Shure mics and monitors.
