Why this name?
Boomerangs always come back around.
Do you play live?
All the way live at 532 Old Farm Road.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I remember when I would anticipate each new album release and go down to the local record store's midnight sale on Monday's and cop the newest ish. Now you get your music in mere seconds and months before it's release. The anticipation is dead. On the other hand, a group can get much more attention online and the whole world can hear your music, rather than just your local area. Music and the internet...it's very Grey.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
If the deal was right, but indie is the way to go.
Band History:
Once there was a young boy who discovered an ancient cave. On the lap of an idol was a big ruby that read, "Whosoever touches this gem shall possess the power of Hip Hop. Henceforth, you who read these words shall become a human juggernaut." As soon as he seized the ruby, he was transformed into the invincible Spock
Jenkins. A virtually unstoppable engine of production and destruction...
Your influences?
Everyone from Gang Starr and Pete Rock to Bob James and Steely Dan.
Favorite spot?
Denver, CO. Europe.
Equipment used:
M-Audio Mic and Preamp, Vestax PDX-2000 and Mixer, and LOTS of records.
