Chiefrocka 4 Real stands for phat Beats, cool Raps, hot Flow and cool Melodies. But who is it all about? Let me begin. Chiefrocka 4 Real aka Dragoneye aka Mr Abdul was born in Munich (Germany). As a son of a german mother and a father whose roots come from Persia, Pakistan and Turkistan I started to listen to Rapmusic in early years. In the 80´s I started breakdancing and I did really good. Unfortunately here in germany the Hype didn´t last very long so I left it. I started to compose music on a Commodore 64 Computer when I was about 14 years old. The opportunities had been like sh.., so I bought Computer after Computer till I finally got the Real PC with the real Software. I produced several Instrumental and Trance/Techno Tracks. As I basically used listening to Rapmusic I started to create my first Hip Hop Beats and mixed Acapella Tracks of different Rapsongs to them. About 5 years ago I wrote my first Rap Lyric while being at work. I don´t really know why I wrote it. But I always rapped it for myself. Day by day till I almost could perform it while sleeping. It happened like it had to. I always wanted to know one thing. How would my voice sound on my own Beats? I had to find out. I composed a Beat, recorded my rap and mixed it together. And the result is my first Rapsong "Chiefrocka in the House". There were more to come... I wrote Lyric after Lyric and always thought about the topics I could write about. What do I have to tell? As I always wanted to dissociate from that Gangsta-Thug-Pimp-Image I started to write about different incidents and experiences of my life. And yes, I also wrote lines for several Partysongs like "Join da Club". While writing I composed the Beats. I recorded my Vocals in my Studio which you would call a living room. Mixed them to the music and put scratches and effects on it before I did the mastering. Every Song required a lot of work and time as I do every step by myself like writing, composing, rapping, scratching, mixing and mastering. Anyway it´s a lot of fun ´cause I love to create and it comes from the heart. I get my Inspiration by many Artists like Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, Nas, Mob Deep, Linkin Park, X-ecutioners, Cypress Hill, Limp Bizkit, The Pharcyde but also by german acts like Samy Deluxe, Beginner, Moses P., Fanta 4, Kool Savas. Mostly I rap in english even I know I gotta work hard on my accent. But I planned to write more german Tracks for the future. My Equipment is my mixer, a Technics 1210 Turntable copy, an ordinary Mic, a Trackersoftware for the music, a Wave Editor Program for mastering the Vocals and finally my mind and feeling for music. I take no stock of programs like Magix Music Maker or ejay, ´cause according to my opinion it´s no big deal to put complete Beats together. I need to take care of every part by myself, also of the tunes, melodies and stuff. I need to compose it. That´s about me so far. I hope you gonna enjoy my music and my site.
