All these equalizers, enhancers, suppressors...

In my day, if you wanted a vocal effect,
you swung the mike around over your head
till it snapped off or you knocked out some teeth.
AND WE LIKED IT THAT WAY!

Back in my day,
we didn't have these home professional recording studios, with the 64 tracks, effects and midi...

In my day, if you wanted to record some songs,
you lugged all your equipment to a "professional studio" that wasted all your spec time and held the equipment hostage till you paid thru the nose.
AND WE LIKED IT THAT WAY!

Back in my day,
we didn't have your free websites to put our music on, with their links, instantly playing, sharing and feedback...

In my day, to get a song heard, you had to play
7 nights a week, from clubs, garages and rooftops
till you got so hoarse, you couldn't talk, spat up blood and developed a heroin addiction.
AND WE LIKED IT THAT WAY!
