Karizmatic aka K. Diggs is a contemporary rapper who loves to voice “the truth” in his rhymes staying away from lyrics that are meaningless and solely “head bangers”. Karizmatic embraces and produces what he calls “reality rap” while still giving his audience something to dance to. A native of Virginia, Karizmatic has always been into music. He played the saxophone in middle and high school has been involved in church choirs throughout his upbringing. He has been rapping since he was a teenager. “Music is freedom of expression,” Karizmatic says. “It is a way to entertain your audience as well as influence them.” Karizmatic has a unique flavor because he was born to parents who were born and raised in Ghana, located in West Africa. Therefore he does not only have an affinity for Hip Hop or American Music, but also African Music. “I have been blessed with exposure to a couple of different cultural backgrounds,” Karizmatic says. “I am able to express my legacy not only to African American people, but also on an international level.” Along with writing rhymes and listening to music, Karizmatic is an avid reader, loves to go “clubbing”, and spend time with the ladies.
