What band?
Why this name?
My previous project was called overjones. I wanted to expand new ideas into actions, hence the "move." Deep, eh?
Do you play live?
I mostly play live for an audience of one. I have played live before, but frankly this isn't my day job. The precious time I have I spend creating new stuff and recording.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I like it a lot. Music should be easily accessible and portable.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Oh, okay.
Your influences?
This is what I listen to pretty steadily - Jeff Buckley (RIP), Radiohead, Bowie, Danny Gatton, Chris Whitley (RIP), Sponge, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Puddle of Mudd, Audioslave, Cake, Foo Fighters, so many many more.
Favorite spot?
Favorite cities are Paris, San Francisco, Barcelona, Tokyo, but I'd rather be where people aren't most often - anywhere on the ocean.
Equipment used:
Most of my hardware has been absorbed by my computer - running Sonar through a MOTU interface except for my Roland JV-30 synth and Boss GT-8 guitar pedal. Ovation, Gibson, Dean guitars and Fender bass. Fender twin amp. Monitored through Event Project Studio 8s. I have lots of soft synths and plugins, mostly freebies. Mastered and manipulated with Adobe Audition.
Anything else...?
It amazes me to see how many people listen but don't download... really, even the free stuff? You're giving me a complex...
