Analuseos is the chaotic synergy of two artists working to produce absurd soundscapes with no particular focus or direction musically. Ambience, chaos, drone, melodies, dynamics, static...all are incorporated into the unique amalgamation of sounds produced by Analuseos.
Why this name?
Analuseos is the genitive of the Greek word Analusis (which clearly gives English the word Analysis), which means "dissolution" or "end". In genitive, it means "of dissolution" or "of the end".
Do you play live?
Analuseos performs many private concerts to often unwilling audiences, but also has plans to take their audiovisual insanity to local venues as soon as the opportunity opens.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Freely available mp3s have made it possible for obscure, unsigned, and otherwise impossible to find artists and bands audible to almost anyone. Audio piracy has certainly been problematic for bands (like metallica) who get cheated out of money by people simply downloading their albums, but we support piracy of our music 100%.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Sell out? Isn't the sole purpose of creating abstract ambient noise to sign a contract with Capitol records?
Your influences?
The members of Analuseos are subsequently influenced by an incredible variety of sights, sounds, tastes, smells and feelings, as well as phenomena such as black holes, dark matter, time travel, the fourth dimension, synthetic synesthesia, Leonhard Euler, Pythagoras, Euclid, abstract algebra, chaos theory, topology and computational mathematics.
