Back when we were competitive ice skaters we were at a party with Scott Hamilton. Needless to say, that man does not hold his liquor well. In his drunken rage he kept shouting, "captain suicide", which we confused for "cap gun suicide". The rest is obvious.

We play all over the west coast and plan on branching out in the future. Let us know if you like our music and we'll try and make a stop at your town sometime.

The whole advent of digital information distribution has been nothing but a blessing, wounding the greedy and explotative douche-bags while at the same time making it easier for people who actually have something to express to get it out there.

After reading that statement above, you'd think the answer would be "no", but who knows? Like everybody else out there we change all the time, so if the opportunity arose we could very well take it. I just hope we'd have the perception to spot a label that actually cared about us and wasn't solely interested in making a buck off our backs.

Cap Gun Suicide's history is far too convoluted to document here, so here's a quick primer with just the current members:

Danny and Jesse moved to Oregon from Las Vegas and started the band. Shortly thereafter Etzel joined. A few years later Ben hopped on board. The End.

This is an oversimplified classification, but we sound similar to NoFX, A Wilhelm Scream, Rise Against, Strung Out, and Propagandhi. We may not sound like any of those bands to you, so feel free to let us know who you think we sound like. (To save you some time, we have already heard "like ass" and "like dragonforce, but better", so don't bother with those)
