Nanou Nanou. My name is Ye, and I'm of Hmong ethnicity. If you're curious who or what the Hmong are, google would be a wise start.
Music to me, is my blood. If I ever get rid of it, I'd die. So to start off, I love music. All forms of music--from the laughter of a child, to the chorus of nature sounds. Music to me is vital, visual, has texture, patterns (abstract or recognizable), movement, threaded with emotional content. Anything else, is just a good replica. Don't get me wrong though, I do not hate the mainstream sound, but I believe if one does music for oneself before catering to others, one is truly making the music his/her soul is spilling.
