Ey up people. My name is Duncan (a.k.a. Dr Nimble). I originate from Sheffield (UK).

I have always loved music, and have been producing tunes since I was 15. I took up the art of sctratching soon after. I like all sorts of music and try to write in a variety of styles.

Why this name?

My DJ name is Nimble Fingerz. I am now a doctor, so I light-heartedly changed my production name to Dr Nimble.

Do you play live?

Due to my work commitments, I don't get the time to play live. But I did a bit of sctratching over my mates sets (Plus 8, Van Detta, Stevie Bones and Soul C) or at parties.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

It is great for up and coming artists to promo their stuff and recieve valuable feedback.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Yes, if the deal was right.

Your influences?

The Prodigy, Portishead, Chemical Brothers, KRS One, all old school jungle and hip hop, all classical composers and various electro.

Favorite spot?

Hope Valley (10 mins from Sheffield). Amazing views which easily spark creatve thought.
