* HoocH was started in the Spring of 1997 in Novi Sad, Serbia and Montenegro. The band was named after the Melvins'song Hooch from the "Houdini" album. (back)
* Band lineup:
Sasha Pesic - vocals on 2,4,5,7,8,9,10,12
Marko Vucenovic - vocals on 1,3,6,9,11
Zoran Vidakovic - guitars
Mladen Dukic - guitars
Vladimir Dukic - bass
Aleksandar Macesic - drums
*

Hooch played only two concerts, started to form a fan base but have suddenly spilt in 1998 with two new songs ready for "the next album".
"The Spate of Love and Trust" was never officially released but it sold in over 200 copies (cassettes) in Novi Sad thru our own "distribution network"
- which were CD shops where Marko offered the tapes.
* HoocH was one of the most progressive and aggressive bands at that time in Serbia. Hooch was even on the second place of the local radio station's
hit-list for 3 weeks (with the song -IF-), but the management of the radio station (radio 021) decided that the music was too aggressive and kicked HoocH
out of the list (suckers!).
(They just couldn't let us have the first place because in that case they would have to play our song six times a day.
The first place was taken by some local poser sh*** band which played whimpy shit... like Cinderella or such shit. Fukk them!!!)

* The songs for "S.O.L.A.T." were recorded at "CHAMELEON" STUDIO in Novi Sad in December 1997.
(it was actually finished on 31.12.1997
on the New Year's Eve)

* Engineered and recorded by Bozidar Nikolic. Mix was done by Hooch and Bozidar. It took us 14 days to record and mix the stuff
(with huge help from our friends who supplied us with Marshall amps, Gibson, weird guitar processors, bass amps, cymbals, beer ...).
