Why this name?
It is my name . Actually, the username McGill, which is what all my other sites go by, was already taken, or I would have used that.
Do you play live?
No, I don't play live because I'm afraid someone will actually like what I do, and then I'll be in deep Poo-Poo.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Yes, the internet does change the dynamics of the music industry. People like me can have their tunes played all over the world, without having some media tycoon telling me I have to sound more like Madonna.
The internet diminishes the ability of Big Music to control what you hear, and how you hear it.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
No. Maybe a distributor to get my music out there, but that's it for involvement with Big Music.
Band History:
One guy with alot of ideas. Actually, 4 CD's and a video DVD worth of material.
Personally, I have toured with my band for 2 years, and that was enough.
I prefer creating on my own time, and in my own way.
It's not that I don't like interacting with people live. I have a band that I've played with for years.
In this day and age no one has any time, so I'm pretty much resigned to the one man band idea.
This is the way I get the most done, and the quickest.

Your influences?
I like anything that's original, new ,exciting, and shows that people are capable of playing their instruments.
From the Beatles, to Jimi Hendrix, Frank Zappa and Pat Metheny, to name a few.
