t-fly a member of black S.H.E.E.P.
a rapper
a producer
a b-boy?
......just look out for him
Why this name?
When i just started school this kid said i looked like a fly and u know i guess it was a way for the other kids to pick on me...actually he said i looked like a turbo fly...and it was such a dumb name that it stuck....turbo fly.Later on in the skool years though when i started getting respect i guess they shortened it to t-fly. So im just rolling with a name that i was blessed wit. I made a dumb name cool
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Yeah it does....it costs artists money u know the bootlegging and stuff. But there's the positive side to your music goes worldwide and you can influence people who couldnt afford to buy your music but needed to listen to you to get through the day.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yeah i would...i guess we'll so who's interested
Your influences?
I listen to a whole lot of different kinds of music...i guess thats the producer side of me.I want to adopt the best parts of all diferent genres.and that in itself helps my rapping.i listen to trip hop artists like portishead.hardcore rock like greenday.softer alternative rock like michelle branch. i listen to whatever is lyrically rich....rap artist i listen to are talib kwali, mos def, kanye west,jadakiss... and people tend to think you can't gain inspiration from new rap artists, they think u gotta listen to and idolize tupac and biggie or else u aint a rapper but i get inspired by new school artists too, i mean u can't reach the future by standing in the past so i listen to new cats like cassidy and fabolous.....

and as far as my tupac inspiration goes...lol...i have never listened to a full tupac album well excep the latest one "loyal to the game"...don't get me wrong i mean tupac was great...but i rather tupac the poet than tupac the rapper ....i could read his poetry books over and over again for days

oh and i play the guitar too so my biggest influence there is carlos santana
