Dreaming of You Dreaming of You

Serpentine Soliloquy Serpentine Soliloquy
A heady mix of metal with goth undertones combined into a powerful song about the oral arts.

There is no one but me...Just me...
I got fed up with trying to get my band to play my songs, so I broke off and have been writing ever since. I will let you all decide if I made the right decision.
Have you performed in front of an audience?
Not since leaving the band...I liked playing live. My very first time playing in front of a crowd, my legs were shaking so bad, I could barely stand. Then, when we were done playing, I jumped off the stage...not realizing that the lights were that low...I bashed my head on a light rig...then, I saw lights. Another show...we were not paid money...we were paid with beer. Good times!
Your musical influences
Black Sabbath, Nikolay Rimsky-Korsakov, Queen, Metallica, Type O Negative, Beethoven...to many others to list.
What equipment do you use?
Fender Strat, Dean 1982 custom Flying V, Ibinez SDGR Bass Boss GT6, Roland GR-20, Mac G4, Digidesign Digi002, ProTools LE, BFD, MachFive, GPO, and Finale.

hey man, i really like the tones of the instruments and there's some interesting melodic ideas, but my one suggestion as a fellow one-man-band is to always record to a click - the reason i say that is because the intro to serpentine soliloquy is a little bit out of sorts, as the guitar, bass and drums are all hitting the one at different times. Otherwise, keep it up man, it's a tough industry and if you wanna do your own stuff you've gotta get started somewhere!
Cheers, J.P.
Tnak you, Steve. How am I supposed to clean off all the sparkling wine? LOL
