"Key to the Kingdom of Shadows" On Sale Now

Midwinter Records (www.midwinterrecords.com) has finally released the split between Bard Brann and Ekove Efrits, and may be purchased exclusively through the Midwinter website for now. Copies will be available through BardBrann.com for US customers in the coming days.

Rehearsals for a live show in support of the album release have already begun. The live act will be a three-piece act featuring the black Bard on vocals/guitar, with session musicians filling in the rest. Dates and times when available.

------------------------------------------------

Formerly a group effort by the name of Kampfgruppe 829 (or KG 829), Bard Brann ultimately decided his former mates were not worth his energies and struck out on his own in early 2005.

The result of this new direction was a one-man project with a decidedly unique perspective on traditional black metal. Rather than produce another tribute band (as KG 829 would quickly become), to drown in obscurity with all the others, Bard Brann is something new. Anything else may as well not be done.
Why this name?
A title gained during the Kampfgruppe Days
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
No.
Your influences?
To be discussed in greater detail at a later date..
Anything else...?
When the stars threw down their spears,
And water'd heaven with their tears,
Did He smile His work to see?
Did He who made the lamb make thee?
