The band was formed on 2004 in Nepal. Band named Nastik and Albatross merged and the new band called Abattoir was formed. Well anyways the band is now split up. We hope you enjoy the songs though.

Why this name?

We decided to call it Abattoir coz we thought this new project was more brutal. well everyone of us liked it.

Do you play live?

yes we used to play live alot. those were the best times of the band. all concerts were special for us.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

The mp3 has changed the music industry alot coz now, coz of mp3 in the internet everyone can share their music and their bands profile, bands can get to know other bands, and people get to hear all sorts of music...we find it amaizin.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

yes we would, i guess.....
