Why this name?
Thats a hard one...... its my name.
Do you play live?
I did play with my church's children's ministry. But now that my daughter is here, that may have to go on the back burner for a while.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
I think the internet in one way has really opened up the doors to alot of musicians that would of never had a chance to be heard, but at the same time. I think because of this the days of the "super" bands are over.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
I would be willing to work out a distro deal with a Christian Label. But anything else would really depend on many things, especially my wife and daughter. I would like to produce and record other Christian acts. Recording is a passion for me.
Band History:
Where do I begin. I have been playing on and off for a long time. (More off than on). In 1984 I played in a "metal" cover tune band, which was my first chance to play some leads. Then in 1986 I went on to play bass for Dethtoll, we were ahead of our time, very fast, lots of time changes. There were two official releases, we hit the top 10 in Frances metal charts. The music still holds up today. Members of Dethtoll went on to play for Gwar, Porn Flakes, and Social Decay. I started playing guitar in Groud Zero which quickly turned into Social Decay when I also took on the vocal job as well as one of the dual lead guitar slots. Social Decay played for three years with one offical release and many unofficial ones. It was at this time in 1995 when I started my engineering career. In 1998 when opening Indian Ridge Studios out in Delta, Ohio. I played bass for long time friends Kindred Idol. Great musicians. I had alot of fun playing with those guys. In 1999 I moved to Phoenix to open a studio with a buisness parther. Worked on various projects, Trench, Skippity Spank Jam. I worked on a bunch of electronic stuff for the next couple of years. In 2004 I was baptised as a Christian and wanted to be able to help reach people, so I picked up the guitar again. This time working on chops and theory. I am a big Yngwie, Jimmy Page, and Stevie Ray Vaughn fan so you can hear bits and pieces of them in my playing.
Your influences?
Yngwie Malmsteen, Jimmy Page, Jimi Hendrix, Gary Moore, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Al Dimeola, Larry Carlton, Billy Gibbons............
Favorite spot?
I'm a big fan of Atlanta, GA, and I have never played for a better city than Toledo, Ohio. Those people support local music like no other!!

Anything else...?
Its been a long time since I have felt the ability to write and record music. I know for a fact this is a gift from GOD. He keeps putting the right people in my path. Because of this I have decided to record a Christian Rock / Blues CD. I have no delusions about being a "rock star", but if my music reaches one person, then I've done something worth while. More to come.........
