Band History:
The rap industry is notorious for producing, genuine, hard hitting, street wise, original artists, and Kane Frost also known as “Killa Kane” is no exception.

In 1995 he experienced his first taste of mainstream Underground rap. At age (15) Kane Frost had formed a group with (3) other friends, known as “Proficient.” Frequent appearances at local clubs in the Houston area sparked an interest with local fans, clubs included, “Metronome” and “Club Boomerang”, which opened doors for an opening performance for the “Alcoholics” and future accessible opportunities to Freestyle on Underground Houston radio stations. After the separation of the group, Kane Frost parted and became a solo artist.

At age (22) he joined forces with one of Houston’s well known Underground rapper, “Omega Red”, produced, and heavily featured on their released Underground album, “Villain’s Blood”, in addition to the album he was featured on other upcoming albums, including an album labeled, “Strategies.” In January 2003, Kane linked up with longtime friend, and fellow servicemen, “Lil Q”, who was at the time transitioning from “Big Tyme Records”, over to newly established, raw, “Somethin’ Serious Entertainment”, record label. Kane Frost and cohorts Lil Q and Redline formed the alliance that is currently knows as, “Block Marines.” Under the leadership of Founder, and Executive Producer, “Star Tha Don” of “Somethin’ Serious Records”, spawned multiple shows, including the 2004 Car Show, College Campuses, opening act for the group “Outkast” and legendary live performances in the city. Kane received considerable praises from features on Hot Mix Cd’s, which were circulating throughout the South, Southwest, and surrounding areas of Houston while he was serving his sentence in TDC. The exposure set off a releasing debut and a highly anticipated Underground album, “Kane – Cursed”, and Hot New Single " Choppin Boyz Up" for early 2006.

Kane Frost is sure to become the new and respected name in the South, West and East Coast rap industry, with a built reputation for his multi-talented, multi-dimensional lyrics, and life experiences, he’s sure to keep his audiences intrigued for years to come.
