DISCLAIMER -Most of the songs on my soundpage are songs of different famous artists. I have played and sung them solely for learning guitar and private study and having some fun along the way and for 'no other reason'. I have absolutely no intentions of breaking any copyright rule etc. And i have mentioned the artist alongwith the song. The different genres describe the type of song more clearly to make the judgement easier by the listeners. Thanks, now to my introduction...
First of all. Its not a band. Just me and my acoustic classical guitar, which i have learnt all myself, with the help of various tutorial sites.
I strum and sing. Though in future i would like to have a band.
Right now I am recording songs with a single mic and the guitar and vocals in it. The quality isn't the greatest of all and there are some hitches in the songs. (I run a 128 RAM machine on Win98SE so you know...)
This soundpage is for Gundesh.
GREEN DAY RULES - I am a punk rock music follower and in many ways my life is full of D.I.Y., hence you can expect more such songs on my page. I will try to write original ones hopefully...

Why this name?
GN means Guitar Noise, which is the website I am a member of. (the forums, that is) Rahul is my name.
Do you play live?
I don't go out much, but I would love to entertain people through my performances.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet is a very powerful tool if one knows how to use it. From tuning to strumming complex songs I have learnt from the internet (and my hard work too !, if you call guitar practice...work, ahem ...lol ). Not one single lesson i have taken from a live instructor. Take a look at Guitarnoise.com or guitar.about.com or ibreathemusic.com. These are great sites for free lessons and discussion too. And of course, then there is, studio-central.com, where you can ask any possible query on recording and studio related topics...Awesome !
I am sure, my recordings could never be heard by the world , had internet not existed. Soundclick does a wonderful job here.
Music, internet, computers, studios, softwares, sound engineering...today everything is related. You can do very well, if you have working knowledge of them all.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
That will depend on how much free pizza they can provide me.
Your influences?
Lots of them. I basically have inclination for cheerful, melodious songs. But i have a great diversity in liking. It depends upon the mood.
My greatest influence and inspiration came from -
My Mama (mom's brother) - His name is Dr.Ravi Agrawal and is a very reknowned doctor in Jaipur, India. He has been the cause of all these songs and my guitar playing. I have picked up guitar and english music solely by following his interests and of his friend Dr.Sachin Khattar (who is a reknowned dentist in Jaipur again). Thank you both for enabling me to explore my interests in the wonderful world of music. Love you both...you guys are the all time rockers !
And now the artists -
John Denver - Country Master
Beatles - No reasons needed
Pink Floyd - Again no reasons
Alan jackson - Nice Country singer
Cliff Richard - Great Great Great !
B B king - Blues king
Green Day - The punk guys rock
Beegees - The kings of love and disco
Elton John - His songs touch deep
Eagles - Country Rock masters
Jimi Hendrix - And his wind still cries mary...
Elvis Preisly - Rockabilly !
Garfunkle and Simon - Soul searching
Kenny Rogers - Musical ballads
Billy Joel - His voice and expression in his songs
The Ramones - Fathers of Punk
And many more.
