Everything in life has a pulse, and the goal of my music is to share my pulse. I discuss everyday life, political and social issues and religion. Talib Kweli said "Life is a beautiful struggle" and through music I overcome this struggle called life.
Why this name?
Ajani Means: he who wins the struggle in swahilli, and I felt that it represented my life and who I am
Do you play live?
I go to a preforming arts high school in NYC so I preform there. I love it expressing yourself through music is so satisfying
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Sure If they would accept me for who I am and not try to change my message of image

Bob Marley, Stevie Wonder, Otis Redding, U2, Lauryn Hill, Mos Def, Common, Talib Kweli, John Legend, Rolling Stones and the list goes on....
Favorite spot?
London for sure. It has this cool vibe. It's really modern and on the cutting edge but manages to preserve the spleandor of it's past
