SoundClick artist: Ayekon - Electronica (mainly Dance, some Techno-y tracks, some Trance like stuff). I'll just say Electronica

Ayekon (pronounced eye-kon) is simply me, just one person who is interested in making music simply for the fun of it. It's like a hobby of mine now. When I have the spare time to work on it I sit here and just work at it.

Why this name?

Initially I wanted another name, but it was already taken so I decided to come up with something else. Icon popped into my head, but I was sure it was already taken. So I got creative and made it look a little different.

Do you play live?

Uhm..no, I'm a newbie and I just do this for the hell of it. And so far I'm enjoying myself.

How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?

I think the internet is wonderful for the music industry. It allows thousands upon thousands of unsigned artists to be able to distribute their work to a large audience in a relatively short period of time. It also allows those who are aspiring to become artists a chance to do so by being able to showcase their talent.

Would you sign a record contract with a major label?

Haha! I don't think I'm good enough for something like that. Like I said I'm a newbie and this is for fun, but sure why not. Haha!

Your influences?

Uhm..well I listen to lots of trance, dance/eurodance, pop, r&b, rap, let's just say I listen to all sorts of music. As far as musical influences I dunno I just make what ever comes to mind.

Equipment used:

Err..no equipment here, just software stuff. Like eJay and Acid.
