Why this name?
There may be some confusion over the pronunciation. Is it "vee-o-la" as in the instrument or "vy-o-la" as in the blue-haired lady who lives down the street? We have no preference just as long as people like our songs
Do you play live?
We play live in our basement. Dead is too smelly.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Bands like Music For Viola who write and record have an outlet to reach the public with their songs. We hear unique, basic pop bands that aren't being played on the radio because radio sucks. The internet has renewed our faith in music.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Only if we can keep our day jobs.
Band History:
Ceci met Jenny. Ceci and Jenny met Greg. Ceci writes the songs, plays guitar. Jenny sings and dyes her hair. Greg plays guitar and records.
