Welcome to the solo music of Harry Baggs. Musician and songwriter for nearly 40 years, finally making my songs public. With three solo CDs released, and many more tunes with Headwound and Mechanical Bride, here's a chance for you to listen to what's new, and what's in the works.
This page is brand new, and I'll add as time goes on, so please listen and add your comments.

Why this name?
Harry Baggs has been my pen-name for as long as I can remember.
Do you play live?
Currently I am playing with the band Headwound. We've been playing out for over twelve years. As a solo artist, I haven't played out....yet.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
It gives artists and bands a chance to demonstrate and promote their music to a worldwide audience. Unfortunately, it's often abused.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Yes...for the sake of my songs. I would like to them distributed in a better produced, and more graphic fashion - not just as an MP3.
Band History:
I am a guitarist/songwriter who happens to own a home studio. I have been playing for nearly 40 years in many different bands, but this is my first chance to go solo.
Your influences?
The Byrds, Pink Floyd, West Coast Pop Art Experimental Band, MC5, Ultimate Spinach, Brian Wilson, and most 60's garage bands. I was born on psychedelic music.
Favorite spot?
Memphis, TN.
Equipment used:
Fender, Rickenbacker, and Dusenberg guitars - Sound City, Voxx, Marshall, and Behringer amps - more effects than I could ever list, and the Roland VS-880 which all my material is recorded on.
