Conscious lyricism. Thats pretty much my style. I'm from Detroit, and I've been influenced by so many different things, and I try to incorporate that into my music. I've released one solo album and also featured on about 6 or 7 others. My album "Great Expectations" was released under Illiance Records, and I am currently doing A& R work for ILL Magazine, the first independant multimedia magazine.

Why this name?
I chose Stryfe because at the time that I was really getting my music going, there were a lot of people who acted like they had a problem or were acting salty with me. It was cool to me, I'm like if you feel froggy then jump, but it was nothing. After that I called myself Stryfe cuz everybody acted like they had ill will with me.
Do you play live?
I perform live anywhere that I can perform at. I havent turned down any performance opportunities to date. I enjoy performances very much. It's something about watching a crowd of people get hype when they know and sing along with your music.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet is the best way to get unknown artists heard. You can just post your music up somewhere and slam everybody everywhere and get them to listen to your stuff.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
