How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
Helps you get your music out to a wider audience. The more people who hear it, the better chance you have of people liking it. It's connected alot of people who otherwise wouldn't have had the chance of hooking up
Your influences?
I think alot of things have influenced me musically. I've never really been tied down to one genre of music. Even though this isn't a popular thing to say, I think my biggest influence would have to be Eminem. Thought my style has evolved from when I first started, he really sparked the interest in writing, the multi syllable rhyme patterns, amazing wordplay and an infectious delivery. Sage Francis, Slug, Sole, Eyedea, the Spoken Word Emceez have really made an impact on me. Seeing as how I'm not from the Streets, didn't grow up in poverty, I just felt the music about inner struggles rather than struggles of survival.
Favorite spot?
Santa Cruz, California. Perfect weather, amazing vibe and of course the beach.
