Band History:

THE HISTORY OF THE ASHWINS kind of

OK SO LET ME TELL YOU A LITTLE STORY ABOUT A BAND CALLED THE ASHWINS. this is justin the trombone by the way. and just so you know, i like to spell trombone without the e. yes if i have left you a comment or something you might have seen it before.

So once upon a time, there were these boys. Nate was a boy who was really f***ing good at the saxophone. Justin was a boy who was good at the guitar and the bass. Colin was a boy who was very good at the drums and piano and other instruments that he picks up. Aydin was a boy who had a mohawk, and Charlie was a boy who bi***ed about things. One day, Nate, Aydin, and Charlie had a band called The Ashwins. Aydin taught Charlie how to play the guitar so that they could make the band, and Nate figured out how to bang on drums. They had a bassist, but then not anymore, and they had a friend named Justin. Justin had just started playing the trombon in addition to the guitar because he liked the sound of brass instruments but the trumpet went so high that it hurt his ears!! So he decided to play the trombone. Aydin makes a joke that Justin can play the bass part on the trombon. So Justin joins THE ASHWINS as the trombon/bass player. Then there was another bassist for a months and then there was a new bassist named Colin. Colin plays the drums a lot. He also doesn't wear shoes. But he figured out how to play the bass instead of the drums and he could already sing good (see YOUR KIDS ARE GONNA LOVE IT verses), and then one day over the summer of 2005 him and Aydin wrote two songs called LACUNA and something else that turned into YOUR KIDS ARE GONNA LOVE IT. There christen THE ASHWINS.

then they wrote more songs and made a lot of friends on myspace.
