Hello and we are the Musa House Band.
At the moment we are happily just a jamm band. All we do is jamm. We make music on the spot, fully improvised so that we can take it in any direction we want to. Sooner or later we shall start to create songs with structures etc but for the moment we are the Musa House Band.

Why this name?
The only place we've all ever jammed together so far is in the Musa House. Thats why we're called the Musa House Band.
Do you play live?
We've played to a very small audience but we also want to play parties etc. We want to be the background music to which people can dance and have fun to.
How, do you think, does the internet (or mp3) change the music industry?
The internet is great for the music industry, it means people from all over the world can find out about different styles of music originating from different ends of the globe. At the same time, if a band wish for their music not to be downloaded, this should be respected.
Would you sign a record contract with a major label?
Band History:
The history of the Musa House Band can go way back. Back to the days where two friends in the band Pete (guitar/keyboard) and Tarek (drums) would jamm to Jimi Hendrix riffs for hours. After a few years of doing different jamms together, the summer of 2005 came. This was the time at which Tom S.(bassist) met Tarek at a local skatepark. Not knowing each others musical ability at all, they went to the Musa House to have a jamm. It went very well. For months they jammed together, from August to December of 2005. Through these months a friend (Andy - Percussionist) of Tom and Tarek would come along, to watch and to enjoy their music consisting of just a bass guitar and drums. By January 2006, Tom and Pete, not knowing each other, met. The four guys jammed a few times. This collective is known as the Musa House Band.
Your influences?
Loads of band influence different members. Bands such as Pig Destroyer, Miles Davis, At The Drive-In, Dispatch, Capdown, DJ Shadow, Pendulum and The Meters to name a few.
