Who is Chris LIVE? Chris LIVE is a complicated man but it aint hard to tell the story. He's got book smarts but he's got a Hooducation as well.
In an interview with an online magazine that covers up and coming talent Chris said about himself, "I keep trying to go right and be right, but I love a good time! The struggle continues between the nice guy in me but my devilish ways keep me sinning."
Chris doen't walk on one side of the fence or the other...he breaks the fences down and roams freely wherever there is something worth seeing.
Chris is a Community man who loves his community and reps his community. When he speaks, people listen cause he's a man with something worth listening too!

The name is Chris LIVE I think that sums it all up pretty well. When you see Chris perform you know you're going to get a live show.
Chris is my real government given name and if you've ever been to DC, most people know that it is well known for its live bands and performances (home to bands such as Chuck Brown, Junk Yard, Rare Essensce and so many more) and you will experience something that you can't get any other way. A live show with an energy that gets you so lifted you can't stop moving. To put it more simply, we get it CRUNK!

I can reach the world now with the internet. I don't have to stay local I can think Global...ya dig!

Band History:
Chris LIve is new to the game but I've been in the music since I was old enough to remember classic jams like "Rock the Bells" by LL and "Who's House" by RUN DMC.
I live, breath, sleep, eat, think, and dream of the Music but it is only recently that I have spread my arms and taken that leap to the next level of this music game and grown from being a follower to a trying to become a leader of the masses.

The greatest rapper and poet to blaze the mic was the late great TUPAC, but I am also inspired BY JAY-Z cause Sean Carter took the game to whole new level.
But of course I also have to show love to the party hip hop from the 80's and the 90's that got the parties jumping way back when. Folks like Heavy D, Young MC, De La Soul, Tribe Called Quest,Doug E Fresh & The whole Get Fresh Crew,
NWA, Dr. Dre,Poison Clan, 2 Live Crew, Spice 1, 2 Short, ScarFace & The Ghetto Boyz.
But also have to recognize for current innovators such as Outkast, Pastor Troy, and the ATL movement, the New York MC's and groups like Wu-Tang, lots of West Coast artist and all the Pioneers and innovators, there are just to many to name...as you can see I love the music.
